Dum Vivimus, Vivamus
We all played with our imagination when we lived in the ages where fantasy and reality did not exist, but were deeply intertwined as one beautiful reality. A state of mind where everything was possible : a rag on your head would make you a stunning bride, money would just magically appear out of the ATM machine, two canvasses and a few chairs made a unvisible fortress of doom and so on. What happened to this magic ? How did we end up the way we are today ? Adults, responsible for their actions and directors of their own lives all mesmerised by the promises of the western world and ultimately leading to the pressure choosing objectivity over subjectivity. With the result of dismissing the incomprehensible to fantasy and fiction. So how about them castles in the sky ? should they be just metaphors for dreams that should only exist in our imagination ? I think the border between the both is quite small. Perhaps we will find something one day that will have such a great impact on our belief system that we just simply can’t understand what we are seeing. Even if the truth has presented itself right before our very eyes. That’s why I’m proposing that we think about reality and fantasy as something intertwined. We should and must keep an open mind for both sides of a possible story. Especially when the day comes when we are forced to do so. Call it a precaution : why could magic castles on asteroids not exist ?
